This weekend Molly got to have her first date with our friend’s son Brody. It would have been dinner and a movie but the kids were too busy playing with toys to sit down and watch tv. We had a great time, hopefully Brody gets to come over and play again soon.

Molly’s first date
Five years!
I can’t believe it but this Friday (the 18th) Kyle and I will have been married 5 years. It’s gone by so quickly! I can’t speak for Kyle but I consider us very lucky to have each other and be happy together. We went out last weekend to celebrate (just in case this weekend was interrupted by baby #2 deciding to make her appearance). An awesome dinner out and we got to see Jersey Boys! It was awesome! Here’s a comparison of us on our honeymoon and last weekend just for kicks.

We had a great day visiting a park where we got to explore, throw sticks in the water and have a picnic. It was a beautiful day and I was all worked up because it was one of the last few Mondays I’ll have with Molly as my only child. She may not always remember this day but I will.

A new toy
Thanks to the generosity of neighbors who don’t need it anymore, Molly got a new Dora jeep. She loves it but I think she has a little way to go before she gets behind the wheel of a car. Here’s pictures of her first outing.
