We decided we couldn’t stay home anymore so we took the whole family to the zoo a couple weekends ago. It was our first trip out with all of us and it went really well! We figured out the double stroller (and Molly even wanted to ride it in so she could be by Eleanor) and both kids ate and were changed at the sprinkler park at the zoo. There is still some craziness to having both kids around but at least we’re trying to get used to it…

Molly and Grandma(s)
With all that we’ve had going on Molly has had a LOT of time with grandparents as they were so gracious to help out. Molly got to get in Grandma’s “open car”, plant her own pepper seeds, go to the sprinkler park and swim in the baby pool.
Everyone at home
Here are some pictures from our trip home from the hospital and the few days following. Molly got a new water table that she loves from Eleanor, a first sponge bath happened for Eleanor and we got lots of cuddling in. It’s a big change having two kids at home for sure but so far it’s been wonderful. Molly is so helpful and hasn’t shown much jealousy at all. She always wants to see her sister and give her kisses, give her a paci, anything. I’m sure there will be rough days ahead but we are so proud of her and feel so lucky to have two wonderful girls.
Eleanor Grace is here!!
Eleanor Grace was born June 2 at 9:17 am. She weighed 7 lbs 12 oz at birth. We couldn’t be happier to welcome this little bundle of joy to our lives!

Molly’s first date
Five years!
I can’t believe it but this Friday (the 18th) Kyle and I will have been married 5 years. It’s gone by so quickly! I can’t speak for Kyle but I consider us very lucky to have each other and be happy together. We went out last weekend to celebrate (just in case this weekend was interrupted by baby #2 deciding to make her appearance). An awesome dinner out and we got to see Jersey Boys! It was awesome! Here’s a comparison of us on our honeymoon and last weekend just for kicks.
Molly the explorer
We had a great day visiting a park where we got to explore, throw sticks in the water and have a picnic. It was a beautiful day and I was all worked up because it was one of the last few Mondays I’ll have with Molly as my only child. She may not always remember this day but I will.

A new toy
Thanks to the generosity of neighbors who don’t need it anymore, Molly got a new Dora jeep. She loves it but I think she has a little way to go before she gets behind the wheel of a car. Here’s pictures of her first outing.

Sprinkler and Splash Park fun
With the warmer weather Molly has been enjoying lots of water play. Splash park at the zoo and one down the street as well as just playing in the sprinkler in our backyard. No matter what it is Molly LOVES playing in the water. And it’s great for mom and dad too because she is so self entertained and we can take a break just enjoying watching her play.
